IDFA members collaborate with us for World PI Week 2021
As part of our World PI Week 2021 campaign the team at IDFA collaborated with members who submitted their personal vision to produce a video. Their stories reflected upon the journey of diagnosis and quality of life as a result of timely diagnosis and appropriate medical treatment. Through the sharing of personal stories in this way we hope to empower those living with PI while educating and raising awareness of this “invisible” disease. We extend our gratitude to all who contributed to the video and to the International Patient Organisation for Primary Immunodeficiencies (IPOPI) for their continuing support.
About World PI Week
World PI Week is a global awareness campaign held annually between 22-29 April, bringing together stakeholders worldwide to create a ‘global movement’. The primary aims of World PI Week are to inform and educate policy makers, healthcare professionals and the broader public about primary immunodeficiencies (PI). The core objective is to promote recognition, timely diagnosis, optimal treatment and an improved quality of life overall.
