QLD High Tea Member Reunion Wrap-up
Published on: 1 December 2022

It was fantastic to see some of our members at our QLD Member Reunion at the Rydges Hotel on the 19th of November. At the event, guests heard from two IDFA members about their experience living with an immunodeficiency, as well as IDFA Board and Medical Advisory Panel member, Dr Luke Droney. There was also a Q&A with Luke where guests were able to pick his brain with their immunodeficiency-related questions.During the presentations, guests were able to enjoy a delicious High Tea lunch provided by the Rydges Hotel. We would like to thank our guest speakers, Tricia Parry, Bianca Willis and Dr Luke Droney, for volunteering their time and sharing their knowledge.Additionally, we would like to thank the Rydges hotel for having us, and Deep Grey Portrait Studio for their generous donation of 3x $250 Gift Vouchers as our lucky door prizes, which three lucky IDFA members took home.  Lastly but certainly not least, we would like to thank our sponsor Takeda, for providing a grant for this event. We look forward to hosting more of these events in the future as they provide a unique and important opportunity for our members to connect with each other. At this stage, we have plans for meetings in ACT and SA early in 2023 and then NSW, Victoria, WA in mid 2023. Stay tuned for more information to come in the new year.
