In May 2022 the National Blood Authority announced that five Australian produced plasma products will be transitioned to new products in 2023 and 2024.

This is a decision that will impact many IDFA members who may find that they are required to transition to new products.

Jo has over 30 years’ experience in the Australian Blood Sector, ranging from hospital scientific laboratory management to developing and implementing national policy through the NBA, and was director of the NBAs Immunoglobulin Governance program from 2016 to 2021.
