COVID-19 Vaccines – Boosters and Third Primary Doses Webinar

In this second webinar on COVID-19 vaccines, we will focus on third primary doses for people who are severely immunocompromised and the difference between third primary doses and booster doses.

There will also be time for general questions and answers regarding COVID-19 and vaccines.

There will be two speakers at this webinar:
Dr Ketaki Sharma MBBS MPH FRACP: General Paediatrician and staff specialist at the National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance. Dr Sharma’s role involves providing advice to health professionals and patients regarding vaccination, providing technical support to ATAGI on COVID-19 related policy and clinical guidance, and research on vaccines in pregnancy.
Dr Tri Phan: Clinical immunologist at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney where he specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with rare primary immunodeficiency diseases. Dr Tri Phan’s lab at the Garvan Institute integrates genomics, intravital microscopy and genetic mouse models to develop ways to improve vaccine-induced immunity against infection, autoimmunity and cancer.
