IDFA 2016 National Conference: 8-10 July 2016
The Immune Deficiencies Foundation Australia is pleased to announce the 2016 National Conference. This 3 day conference will be held at the Novotel Hotel, Darling Harbour, Sydney from the 8-10th July 2016.
The Guest Speaker is Dr Nizar Mahlaoui from the Imagine Institute in Paris. Dr Mahlaoui specialises in X Linked Agammaglobulinaemia (XLA)and Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD).
Other guest speakers will include prominent Australian Immunologists including IDFA’s Medical Advisory Committee, Dr Melanie Wong, President of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) and Dr David Gillis.
Topics covered will include: antibody deficiencies, CGD & other phagocyte disorders, bone marrow transplantation and gene therapy, XLA & ARA, advances in diagnosis and treatments, SCID newborn screening, PIDs, allergies & respiratory disorders, tips and tricks, autoimmunity and immunodeficiency, fatigue, psychological needs of patients and carers and several patient workshops.
IDFA is contributing 67% to the cost of the conference for IDFA patients, carers and family members. Contributions start from $387.02 for members including accommodation, registration, meals and conference dinner.
This conference is also open to healthcare professionals.
Costs start from $300 for Healthcare professionals (no accommodation) and $850 for industry and stakeholders (no accommodation), see costs below.
