Nathan’s story

Nathan

Nathan

Nathan began getting sick at 12 months with unusual infections e.g. Staphylococcus and mouth ulcers. Nathan was diagnosed with a rare PID called X-Linked Hyper Igm Syndrome. This PID has about a 90% cure rate with a BMT.

It is possible his brother will be a Bone Marrow match for the future, however currently Nathan remains fairly well on his crrent treatment of  IVIg every 3 weeks and daily antibiotics.
